A young coach with experience in the Spanish national team was found to be on the radar of the Korea Football Association.

Born in Barcelona in 1977, coach Moreno is a leader with an unusual career without a professional football career.
After going through other youth teams in Barcelona, he joined the Barcelona Academy as head coach in 2008, and in the summer of 2011 he joined AS Roma as a coach in the division of former Spanish national team manager Luis Enrique.
Due to this relationship, Moreno worked with Enrique as a coach at Celta Vigo in 2013 and Barcelona in 2014. In the 2014/15 season he was with Barcelona in their second treble (La Liga, UEFA Champions League and Copa del Rey).
Moreno then rejoined the Spanish national team coaching staff in the summer of 2018 alongside coach Enrique after spending one season as assistant coach at Celta Vigo in the summer of 2017.
