At the beginning of this year, KLPGA set the goal of ‘improving the quality of member benefits’ and focused on expanding the number of golf courses and driving ranges that are frequently used by members. Currently, there are a total of 135 companies that have partnered with KLPGA for member benefits. Golf courses and driving ranges account for the largest share at 25%. Accommodation and medical services accounted for 20% and 19%, respectively. Golf equipment and golf apparel accounted for 8.5% and 8%, respectively. Other categories such as education, beauty, and travel accounted for 19%.

KLPGA has also provided free education programs to its members, including professional golf instructor qualifications. In partnership with the Korea Golf Driving Range Association (KGCA), 8 golf driving ranges across the country offer job opportunities or discount fees.

A KLPGA official said, “We plan to expand partnerships with companies in various regions such as Gangwon, Gyeongsang, Jeolla, Chungcheong, and Jeju so that members can benefit from regions other than the metropolitan area.”
