After being hit in the head by a pitch, Toronto Blue Jays right-hander Alec Manoa expressed his sympathy for the batter.
“It’s the worst feeling,” he said of what happened on his final pitch of the day, in an interview after the Blue Jays’ home game against the Los Angeles Angels at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on Tuesday.
With the bases loaded and one out in the fifth inning,바카라사이트 McNaughton threw a 2-0 pitch to Taylor Ward that slipped and hit Ward in the head.

Ward was carted off the field and taken to the hospital. He will be evaluated further.
Ward, who hit Starling Marte in a previous game with the Oakland Athletics, said it was “a really scary, horrible moment” and he hoped the other batter was okay.
“I’ll pray for the other player and his family. It’s one of the last things I want to do. I feel terrible,” he said.
“I’ll definitely be in touch, and we’ll see how he recovers. I hope he comes back safe and sound,” he said.
Manoa was removed from the game shortly after the dune. He went 4 1/3 innings, allowing one run on four hits with three walks and six strikeouts.
Manager John Schneider said, “There were times when he was really good and times when he was a little inconsistent, but I don’t think it’s a regression. He induced swings and misses with both his fastball and slider, got strikes with his slider, and his changeup kept getting better. In the fifth inning, I think my command was shaky. Overall, it was a good day,” he said of Manoa’s pitching.
On the decision to pull Manoa: “We looked at the lineup, the pitch count, etc. He wasn’t going to go long anyway. We also looked at his mental game. I think it was the right time,” he said, adding that it was a combination of factors.
“I felt pretty good,” Manoa said. I felt pretty good. I was trying to keep them off balance against a good lineup. My fastball and sinker were good, and my changeup was working well to keep them off balance. I thought my off-speed pitches were good,” he said of his pitches.
